Hope 2012 at St Andrew's

What is Hope 2012 I hear you ask?
Hope is not just a St Andrew's thing, but a national initiative, which continues to bring churches together to serve God and the local community. If you would like to know more about 'Hope' Nationally you can visit their website by clicking here:
On Goldsworth Park:
Our church will be organising a 'Hope' week from 4th-10th June 2012. This is a fantastic opportunity for all ages to come together to serve our community through a series of social action and community activities.
There will be: Besom Projects, Free Car Washing, Gardening, Sports, Litter Picking, and on the Saturday our coffee shop will be selling half price coffee and cake.
(So why not get your car washed and chill out in our coffee shop whilst you wait!?)
On top of all that there will be a craft morning in the A2 on Monday 4th, followed by an Afternoon Tea. A Talent Evening on Wednesday 6th. We will be painting a Mural on Saturday 9th, and to round off the week there will be a community BBQ and Outdoor celebration on Sunday 10th. You can download the full programme from here..
As you can see there is so much going on during this half term week, so please get involved, you can sign up at church, call the office and ask to speak to Ed.
Also please do invite your friends and neighbours to the activities we are running,
All are Welcome and everything is free. (Except the Afternoon tea, where we ask for a £2 donation, and tickets can be got from the church office.)
The vision of this week is to bring the light and love of Jesus to all areas of our community on Goldsworth Park, so please get involved or get in touch with Ed for more information.
This page will keep you up to date with everything that is happening and how you can get involved so keep us bookmarked as we will update this page regularly...
